Dr. Tom Plaut has been telling stories for decades. They capture the notable, the quirky and the outrageous in everyday life. In his first post, he writes about a mule that had rabies, children with worms and a boy with blue hands. Psychic healing, abortion, a newborn and a scrotum then receive attention. Later posts will include research in the jungle, foot races, working, publishing, plagiarism, politics and art stolen by the Nazis.
Plaut received a B.A in history from Yale, and an M.D. from Columbia. He specialized in pediatrics, then asthma for 50 years authoring many articles and four books on asthma. One Minute Asthma: What You Need to Know, the best-selling asthma book in the United States, is available in English and Spanish as an EBook.
